This place is a gem! I enjoyed the great atmosphere and the fact the owner came around and conversed was amazing and added a personal touch lost at most big name joints. As i told him, I was upset with my food only by the fact I didn't find it sooner! Will definitely return and can't recommend this place enough!
The atmosphere was relaxing and music playing was outstanding. Service from beginning to end was truly welcoming and intentional. The food AMAZING!!! We did not add a single drop of salt/pepper. I could have eaten the carrots all night long. It was such a wonderful vibe!
Fork and barrel it was a great experience from top to bottom. It has a relaxed atmosphere with high-quality food and great service everything we had was great but some of the stand outs were the half chicken, the pork chop, the derby pie, and the wedge salad. The food was all cooked the way we’d ordered them with great full flavor and uniqueness in every dish. We all made a comment that this place knows how to cook bacon! It was cooked and flavored excellent every time it came on something. Our server Vince took great care of us even though it was packed. Also it’s great when the chef is brining out food and asking for feedback. Thanks Chef Heyde and team!
Service was incredible! Hubby got the biscuits and gravy which he loved. I got the incredibly delicious avocado toast! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the awesome nineties hits that were playing that morning ;) we will be back when we r in Louisville next
Hosted a business dinner of 12 mid week. What a great experience! Vince our server was attentive and the food was spectacular! Short Uber if you are staying downtown. Devilish Eggs appetizer- wow! My wife would not share, better order your own.
Fork and Barrel was the perfect spot for my wife and I for Valentine’s Day dinner. The restaurant has a cozy and intimate atmosphere, making it a great place for a special night out. The food was excellent, with every dish clearly made with care, and the drinks were just as good. The place was decorated for Valentine’s Day, which was a cute touch that added to the experience. One of the highlights was that the chef came out to talk with us, which made the experience even more welcoming and personal. It’s a great spot on Frankfort Ave, and we’ll definitely be back.
Went to this restaurant for the first time in years (used to go to this location when it was North End Cafe) and to take my kids on spring break to the Harry Potter themed meal and it did not disappoint! Friendly service, clean, excellent food cooked very well and my picky kids ate everything up. They had the Sirius Black Burger, French toast, pancakes and butter beer; and I had the Hagrid Rueben with a side salad. Will come back again, especially for another theme as it makes it extra special for the kids!
